Correctly selected suppliers make up a large part of the successful functioning of the company, since the contentment of an end customer depends on supplier’s ability to provide the required goods or services. In this paper, the main methods and algorithm of selecting supplier for a freight forwarding company will be analyzed using the example of Panalpina World Transport JSC, one of the world leaders in this field. The relevance of the work is explained by the fact that in the current situation, when the issue of the cost of services is extremely important, it is necessary to reconsider the aspect of interaction with suppliers about choosing of the most suitable supplier for each specific customer.
