Healthy lifestyle of the population is one of the most important problems of our time. In 2018, there is an active struggle for a clean and competitive sport without doping. However, the problem remains of the dependence and influence of the state in regulating physical culture and sports. Features of public administration in the field of physical culture and sports are determined by the specific goals and tasks facing the state in connection with the development of the corresponding needs of citizens. It should be noted that the state policy in the field of physical culture and sports is one of the directions of state social policy, which as a whole is aimed at creating conditions for a dignified life, satisfaction of the spiritual and material needs of citizens, and increasing their welfare. Now in the Russian Federation there is a situation when it is urgently necessary to take decisive measures to improve qualitatively the level of public health, the formation of new values ​​for young people (including the rejection of bad habits), a high level of citizenship and patriotism. Providing appropriate conditions for creating a healthy lifestyle is the priority of state policy to the country, which pays special attention to the development of mass physical culture and sports. The purpose of the thesis is to disclose administrative issues of state activities in the field of physical culture and sports, its regulatory and legal regulation, as well as consideration of federal bodies in the field under investigation.
