This diploma bachelor's work is a study of the principle of the effectiveness of justice in civil cases. The present state of affairs is such that the existence of civil society is impossible without the use of regulators of judicial activity. The analysis of the legal literature on the theory of civil legislation, as well as the opinion of practical lawyers, reflects solidarity on the issue of the existence of problems in justice today. Currently, the actual state of affairs speaks about the need to create a system of legal settlement of disputes, which would maximally effectively protect the violated rights and freedoms of the individual. Unfortunately, the trend is that, in general, attempts at the legislative level to resolve this problem fail. All this indicates the existence of a large number of insufficiently studied issues in the justice system, as well as the existence of profound reasons that impede the effective functioning of justice in civil cases. The presented research work consists of several interrelated parts: table of contents, introduction, six main parts, conclusion and list of sources used. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research topic, as well as the purpose of the research, its object and the subject of research. Introduction also determines the methodological basis of the research, its hypothesis. The main chapters are divided into several parts, each of which reveals important elements of the study of the principle of the effectiveness of justice in civil matters, namely: theoretical aspects, criteria that constitute the principle of effectiveness, their characteristics, ways to solve problems of implementing the effectiveness principle, as well as the practice of the ECHR. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn based on the theoretical part of the study; results of the analysis of the object of research are given, as well as recommendations for improving the considered object in the research work.
