The study of the visual style of educational videos will be useful in that I can see how different people solve the problem of submitting information in their videos. The blogs I selected on YouTube will serve as a reference and show how the content on self-education and self-development is most understandable and attractive to the viewer. The first problem was the choice of which videoblogs to include in the study. I decided to exclude content related to practical activities and focus on most of the knowledge that people use to develop their consciousness, psyche. Then there was a registration of blogs, combining them in certain groups. It was also important to understand how to choose the right frames, which would be a visual example and a visual image of a blog. Analyzing the collected information, I concluded that the more complex the information, the clearer and clearer the video should be. In addition, humorous inserts make browsing and studying the topic more enjoyable, adding an element of the game, which simplifies memorization. At the same time, topics that require reflection can be effectively shown in a minimalistic form, for example, there is only a speaker present in the frame and there is nothing superfluous. Here the important role is played by the charisma of the speaker, the video in any case should not be boring and monotonous. With a sufficient number of educational blogs, it became clear that there is a lot of information on how to develop the personality, how to deal with psychological problems and solve life's difficulties. This visual compilation, among other things, can serve as a reference for the access of my diploma project to find useful and informative blogs on self-education.
