Discrimination on Grounds of Language: Theoretical and Legal Aspects

This paper is devoted to the problem of linguistic discrimination. In the framework of this paper, the essence of the phenomenon of discrimination on the basis of language was made, its legislative regulation as international legal, and national) was studied and the specifics of the difference from other types of discrimination were studied too. Particular attention is paid to the terms. The emphasis was placed on the study of language rights and the status of languages ​​within the European region, the countries of Africa and the Russian Federation. Important court cases concerning language discrimination have been analyzed, and a list of measures necessary to counteract the negative phenomenon of linguistic discrimination in the private and public sectors has been developed.
