Improvement of Logistic Network by Application of Modeling and Simulation Tools Based on Company from Automotive Industry

Keywords: supply chain network design, mathematic modeling, multiobjective optimization, The purpose of graduate qualification work (GQW) is to develop proposals to improve the logistics network of the automotive industry. The objectives of the GQW are: the analysis of economic activity of the company including the analysis of the competitive environment and dynamics of financial indicators of activity of the company; the analysis of logistic activity of the company directed on identification of problems and search of the reasons of their emergence; studying of the works devoted to subjects of design of a logistic network; development of procedure for the analysis and further improvement of a logistic network of the company; selection of the optimal configuration of the logistics network and evaluation of the effectiveness of the proposed measures. In the course of the analysis of logistics activities, the efficiency of the logistics distribution network was reduced due to the increase in the time of the order; increasing customer requirements for the quality of logistics services – delivery on time, fast processing of orders, availability of goods at the time of the order; increasing the level of total logistics costs. The object of study is a manufacturing company. Scope of activity is the production of automotive spare parts. The result of the study was a model that made it possible to determine the optimal configuration of the future logistics network. The economic feasibility of the practical application of the proposed recommendations was proved. As a result, the ROE ratio in the model of strategic profit grew by 1,34 % Net GQW: number of pages - 104, number of figures - 49, number of tables - 25, references – 27.
