In the article I consider, how the development of digital technologies affects the museum's institution. In particular, I determined how digital art, museum staff tools, the museum's interactive program have changed and what media extensions they prefered. Apart from that, you can find plenty examples of transmedia and digital projects of Russian and foreign museums in this article. I paid special attention to to the memorial museums and suggested media development ways for the Sytin museum.
