The Success Factors of International Sharing Economy Companies Operating on the Russian Market

Although the sharing economy is a sufficiently new phenomenon, according to the forecasts of PricewaterhouseCoopers, as early as by year 2025, the shared consumption volumes will grow up to US$ 335 billion. High dynamics of the emergence of sharing companies necessitates the need to research the factors of success of international companies operating subject to the sharing economy principles. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the key success factors in the activities of international sharing companies operating in the Russian market. Research hypothesis: not only will the use of the sharing economy principles by a business entity in commercial activities allow to improve its financial performance, but it will also help enhance the loyalty of the existing and potential product users. The object of the research was the SE companies and its performance drivers. The subject of the research was the international sharing economy companies operating in the Russian market.
