Structure of the Shifts in International Trade in the Conditions of the Development of the Digital Economy Using the Example of E-Commerce

This work is devoted to the impact of e-commerce on the world economy. In the first chapter of the work a definition of the concept of "digital economy" is defined and the place of electronic commerce is determined. The most topical developments are also covered, the development of which already has a significant impact on international trade. Also, examples are given of how the implementation of digital solutions is changing the business landscape now. Further, the concept of e-commerce is discussed. Typical models of work of enterprises using ICT in trade are described. A distinction is made between "traditional" types of trade, as well as e-commerce. The second part of the chapter deals with the main types of e-commerce. Analyzed are their advantages in relation to "traditional" types of trade. Next is a review of the main statistical indicators related to electronic commerce and analysis of the situation in different markets. Particular attention is paid to countries with the most developed e-commerce markets: the US and China. In the third chapter, based on the information provided, a hypothesis is tested regarding the role of e-commerce in the structural shifts in international trade. In order to make a conclusion about the proposed hypothesis, the decomposition analysis method is used. Also an important part of the work is the analysis of the development of this market in our country. The conclusion of the paper presents the main conclusions that were obtained during the study.
