Educational Programme: Data Journalism (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2018

Despite the fact that many large journalistic projects in the field of data journalism are implemented in general, they also include designers and developers. It can be stated that today every journalist has at his disposal all the necessary tools and a set of data sources for conducting a full-fledged journalistic research using large amounts of data. Thus, we can say that the emergence of an increasing number of stories in the direction of data journalism is a logical step for the development of journalism in the digital age. In this regard, the understanding becomes even more acute not only for the journalist himself, but for everyone who is somehow involved in the work on the date-journalistic project of how much he corresponds ethically to the professional standards. Finally, despite the fact that data journalism is not in essence a panacea for possible abuses in terms of presenting conclusions in a distorted form, it should be noted that this direction of journalism is making another step towards transparency of content and increasing responsibility for the validity of published information for the entire journalistic community.
