Peculiarities of India's Foreign Policy towards Central Asian Countries at the Present Stage

Nowadays India is one of the fastest growing countries in the world. According to the fact that the Indian economy is growing, the need for energy resources is growing accordingly. It is very important for the country to seek new sources of energy resources. And the importance of Central Asia for India is determined primarily by economic potential and geopolitical significance, so India has taken various measures for close cooperation with these states and achieved significant results in convergence with them. However, today India loses to China in the struggle for political and especially economic leadership in the region. The author examines the main directions of India's foreign policy towards the countries of Central Asia at the present stage. The aim of the study is a comprehensive study and systematic analysis of India's policy towards the countries of Central Asia in the chronological, country and problematic sections. To get a comprehensive research, multimethod research design is used.
