"Dniester-M" is a multimedia project based on the interactive film "Last Summer on the River". The narrative modalities of fantasy and dreams, the use of augmented reality instrument and documentary photography, conducts a spatio-temporal boundary between the past and the present of cultural, historical and natural monuments located on the river. The film tells about what led to the threat of the disappearance of the river and what the people could lose as a result of the ecological disaster, which will result in the uncoordinated construction of six hydroelectric power stations on the upper course of the river. The work raises questions of irresponsible attitude to the native land and mass emigration of the young population of the country. The narrative consists of interrelated plots that develop along the direction of the river: from its source to the mouth, thereby conducting a metaphorical parallel between growing up the river and growing a person. In the center of the story is a person's history, his attitude to his native place. The interactive element is represented by the possibility of voting with the subsequent development of the plot, which at the end is reduced to the results of a sociological survey. Key words: #homeland, #collective_memory, #nature, #responsibility, #ecology, #recruitment, #biofuel, #emigration, #earnings, #energy, #generation
