The rapid development of the economy in the modern world is largely stimulated by the growth of international trade, due to its liberalization. Each year, the countries conclude an increasing number of agreements on the FTA, not to lose competitive positions when exporting to the markets of their partners. This led to the fact that in the 21st century the establishment of the FTA has become one of the most widespread and effective tools for the development of trade relations. Thus, this thesis examined the position of the EAEU in the world economy and set a goal to determine the most promising trading partners of the EAEU for trade development in the priority categories for the countries participating in the union through the establishment of an FTA.
