The Main Symbols Used in Chinese Names in the Second Half of the Twentieth Century

Names are an integral part of the culture and life of any people, they can reflect our values ​​and ideas. In the past 70 years, China has faced major changes, and there are several studies that highlight the links between socio-economic changes and symbols that are often used in Chinese names. The purpose of this study is to collect the most common symbols used in modern Chinese names and to search for links between names and processes in Chinese history of the second half of the 20th century. To test our hypothesis, we collected and analyzed this 27 respondents.
