Year of Graduation: 2018

This work has the main goal – to reveal the important features and properties of the Russian folk toys as folk art. Thus, I studied the variants of using the images of horse, bird, other animals and human in various folk crafts in the creation of toys. Particular attention was drawn to the sources, which contain information about wooden toys made in the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir and Arkhangelsk provinces, clay – in the Orel and Ryazan regions, as well as materials about the Dymkovo toy, which became one of the visiting cards of Russian folk crafts, known far beyond Russia. Originality and unique features of folk art objects can prompt new unusual ideas for implementation, which will affect the shape, color and other quality characteristics of the developed objects. In a broad sense, these characteristics were used in the implementation of the project, in which some folk crafts will find their practical application. The paper implements the concept of implementation of toy images as elements of children's playgrounds. This has a special psychological and pedagogical effect, since the correctly chosen content and form of toys always has a positive impact on the plot of the game in the process of spiritual, intellectual and physical development of the child.
