The topic of my research is the policy of the USSR in the countries of «non-capitalist development» in Sub-Saharan Africa in 1957 – 1960. The goal of the study is to find out the ways, goals, and results of interaction of Soviet organizations (especially diplomatic ones) in such countries. The subject of the research is Soviet policy in Nkrumah’s Ghana and Sekou Toure’s Guinea. The object of my research is the complex of documents of the Archive of Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation and other documents associated with the Soviet presence in the following countries. The structure of my work is represented with chapters dedicated to the concept of «non-capitalist development», to the circumstances which made these countries choose this way of development, and to the Soviet economical, ideological, and political influence.
