Magister`s thesis is devoted to the research of the effectiveness of state programs. As an example for assessment of the effectiveness became the state program of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic "Development of the tourist and recreational complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic". In the research, the program was assested by cost-benefit analysis. The assessment of efficiency indicated the expediency of further realisation of the state program. The research also made it possible to identify possible problems in assessing the effectiveness of the state program of the KBR "Development of the tourist and recreational complex of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic" and ways of their removal.
