Graduate qualification work on "North-South Problem and Regional Development in Italy Befor and After the Global Financial Crisis of 2008-2009". Keywords: regional development, regional disparities, Italy, crisis, regression, panel data. Object of research - national economy of Italy. Subject - correlation of regional development and main macroeconomic parameters. The aim of this work is to identify the dependence of regional differentiation within the economy of one country from changes in economic fundamentals on the example of Italy. Theoretical study carried out by analyzing literature and relevant sources. Applied research - conducting regression analysis on the panel data. The paper considers the situation of regional imbalances caused by historical events, analyzed the state policy in the crisis and post-crisis period and its influence on regions, the model estimates effects of major macroeconomic parameters on development of regional economies. The work contains 53 pages of typescript and 16 tables.
