The goal of this work is to increase the effectiveness of education (including additional) in the iot field by developing a software and hardware platform for a training workshop on the Internet of things and the cycle of laboratory work. In the work the problems of education in the field of IoT were studied, a review and comparative analysis of existing technical solutions was made, a comparative analysis of development methods and tools, various manufacturers of printed circuit boards, a hardware and software platform architecture, a 3D model developed, an overview of programming languages for the Wemos board D1. As a result of the work, a hardware part was created, a program part (web-application) and educational-methodical materials (a cycle of 7 laboratory works) were developed. The volume of work is 60 pages. In the work 35 graphic materials and 5 tables were used. The basis for writing the work was 52 sources.
