The National Court's Discretion on Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards

This paper is devoted to the study of the broad autonomy of national courts in the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards within the framework of the 1958 New York Convention as well as to an analysis of how the lack of uniformity in the application of the New York Convention provisions affects international commercial arbitration.
