Оn reason the theme of my diploma project based on the cookie packaging development with a picture of the monster above it so the theme of my visual study will be «monsters in the movies», in other words there will be described movies and animated cartoons with this characters (monsters). Monsters, terrible demons from the underworld attracted people from ancient times. People composed legends, myths, fairy tales, creepy stories with them. Every person could imagine them as the imagination could let it. However with the advent of the film industry people could see these creatures as natural as directors and artists could portray them on the screen. So today they look at us from the screens of cinemas and TVs and they like alive, excite our imagination, tickle our nerves. With the advent of computerization in movies and the development of computer graphics the possibilities of images on the screens of fantastic creatures increase indefinitely. Monsters on the screens today incomparably more realistic than twenty or thirty years ago. The use of computer graphics in movies allows the artist’s imagination to fly to an incredible height, it seems that it doesn’t have a limit. This inspires filmmakers to create new films about monsters and fantastic creatures. The visual study will be structured to show how a person looks with and without makeup, to tell how the makeup was done, whether it was applied to computer graphics or not. Films from different eras will also be taken to show the difference between realistic makeup and computer graphics from different decades. And, of course, to talk about the monsters in the cartoons, because, no matter how scary they are, they are still kinder than the monsters in the movies.
