The elaboration of public transport stops is one of the priorities for architects who deal with the urban design. This research analyzes design of public transport stops. The research task is compilation of visual information about the space planning decisions of existing stops; identification of the advantages and disadvantages of typical and unique projects in CIS states and in the world; analysis of the trends of stops design. The project aims to formulate main principles of design of modern stops. Two apt ways of creation of these objects were identified. They are utilitarian and artistic approaches. Both of them has benefits and can be used. As a result, I created a project that takes into account the functionality and aesthetics.
