Reconstruction of the Squares in Central Part of Kolomna

This visual research is a part of master paper on reconstruction of the central squares in the city of Kolomna. The downtown is a point of an attraction of people both on weekends and on weekdays. As in the central part of the city generally there take place all mass and significant actions of the city. At the moment in the center of Kolomna are located objects of a trade, cultural and religious fields. But, in the city there are no objects of the modern art. Those objects which could cause WOW-effect of citizens and also attract a bigger flow of tourists. The works chosen for this research rather various from colourful installations with luminescent threads to videomapping in the damp environment. The installations presented in a visual research are works of artists from all over the world. The selection doesn't cover all installations existing and realized at the moment time. This visual research executed taking into account landscape and visual features of the city of Kolomna. An objective of this research is studying of that as the natural and artificial landscape of the city by means of similar installations is capable to affect feelings of the viewer during his stay in an installation point. The clustering of projects in the field of media art and obtaining necessary knowledge is result of this visual research as projects are arranged technologically, also acquaintance to trends in the field.
