Digital Technology and Traditional Banks: Ways of Transformation and New Threats

Within this research an attempt of assessment of various scenarios of digital transformation, definition of possible threats on the way to digital transformation of banks and determination of expected terms of existence of traditional models of business in digital space has been made. The purpose of work is to develop an integrated approach to creation of digital bank, to create the main recommendations about development of strategy of digital transformation and to define ways of fight against the arising threats on the way of digitalization of banks. The practical cases reflecting basic elements of transformation have been given in the second part of work. And it is shown as banks can gain additional income or cut down the expenses.
