The healthcare industry has always needed advanced technologies and the most advanced solutions. New technologies are being actively introduced into hospitals and clinics, but there are tangible problems in the development of medical data management methods. Since information is one of the most important resources for any new technologies and research methods, such discrepancies in data quality slow the development of the field as a whole. For this reason state and non-state actors are considering various ways to solve this problem. The best exchange of data between providers of health care means a higher probability of accurate diagnoses, more effective treatment and the overall ability of health organizations to provide cost-effective care. In this paper, the existing methods of storing medical data were examined and the problems that need to be solved with the help of a new generation system were identified. A possible solution to this problem is the technology of distributed data storage based on the block system, which has become a loudly discussed tool in the last few years. The aim of the work was to consider the possibility of using a distributed data warehouse for the management of patients' medical records. In the course of the study, blockade technology was studied, and existing projects in this field were considered. Methods of assessing the effectiveness of information technologies for determining performance parameters, which must be followed when analyzing the possibility of using technology, were also analyzed.
