Comparative Analysis of the System Supporting the Export of Knowledge-intensive Goods in Countries with Leading and Catching Up Economies

In this master's thesis, national systems for supporting the export of science-intensive (high-tech) goods in countries with leading and catching up economies are examined. The analysis of the characteristic features of national export support systems in the countries of technological leaders and countries with catching up economies (for example, the USA, Israel, Germany, Brazil, China and India). Assessment of the world experience in the application of export support measures and instruments has made it possible to distinguish several types of organization of national export support systems in developed countries. The need to improve the national system of export support in countries with catching up economies in particular in Russia has been identified and justified. Based on the conducted research, the authors developed recommendations on improving the application of measures and mechanisms to support the export of science-intensive products in Russia and other catching up economies of the world.
