Business processes, as well as projects that implement them, are inherently unique, and often the most important ones are also more complex in terms of implementation. They take place over a long period of time and require the involvement of a wide range of resources, including people, finance, equipment, materials and intellectual property. In most cases, projects define goals or an end state that provides project participants with a clear vision of the picture as a whole. In modern business practice, an integrated approach to business and IT is needed. Today's competitive market forces companies to depend more on the ability to respond to changes and adjust their processes depending on new requirements. For business in this environment, a major challenge is the transformation of a huge number of concepts and ideas into products and services. In order to achieve this, many organizations are trying to continuously improve their business processes. In this regard, the effective management of business processes is gaining increasing interest for companies.
