The Influence of External Factors on Morbidity in Russia

This paper examines and quantifies the impact of external risk-factors on morbidity by 15 main classes between 2003 and 2015 in Russia. Using a regional panel data analysis with year fixed effects, we find that emissions in the air are more significant than other risk-factors. What is more, diseases of respiratory system are most exposed to risk-factors than others.These results can be used by the governments of regions to improve existing public health policy.
