Influence of Crowdfunding Platforms on the Success of Projects

For a short period of time, crowdfunding has shown very considerable growth rates of the amounts of financing. Its main idea consists that the businessman attracts small financing from a large number of people instead of asking a large sum from one person or a little group of persons. Businessmen communicate with this audience directly through the social networks and special Internet platforms. The increasing number of businessmen is interested in knowing what factors influence success of the project placed on the crowdfunding platform. An object of a research of this term paper is crowdfunding projects from various world platforms. We define what factors are most significant for success of such projects and as it are more advantageous to present them for the greatest response of sponsors. For carrying out researches, we consider articles of many foreign and Russian authors and we compare approaches of the most significant researchers in the field to our approach. We study various methodologies of assessment of the importance of factors and we choose suitable to select the most often found words in the description of projects and general characteristics of these projects.
