Interaction of Business and Government via Business Associations at the Present Stage

The present work is devoted to the analysis of three umbrella business associations of Russia, namely the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, "OPORA RUSSIA" and "Business Russia". Based on the analysis of the requests of Russian business and government, the author developed criteria for assessing the activities of Russian umbrella business associations as an institution for interaction between business and government, considering Russian realities. As a result of the comparative analysis conducted according to the specified criteria, the author identifies the most successful umbrella business association in Russia.
