The Role of Feedback in the Choice of Categorization Strategy

Previous study indicates a possible link between feedback's verbal emotional semantics and a strategy participants use in the category-learning tasks. In this study we test the results of the previous study. Participants will be divided in two experimental groups and will categorize objects into two categories. We build and compare backward leaning curves for different experimental conditions to see whether one of the conditions is more likely to promote participants to use unidimensional bias during categorization.
