Problems and Trends of Development of Regional Tourism Policy in Nizhny Novgorod

This final qualification work is aimed at analyzing native and foreign trends in regional tourism policy and identifying Nizhny Novgorod’s tourism problems, including formulating recommendations for their elimination through the use of territorial marketing tools. The following methods will be used during the research: theoretical analysis of scientific publications and articles on how to use of marketing tools in tourism, analysis of the regulatory framework, cases of using territorial marketing tools, comparative analysis of municipal tourism development programs, interviewing specialists in the field of tourism. According to the results of the research, the theoretical material is structured: the conceptual research apparatus is defined, the schemes of the tourist product and the schemes of using the tools of territorial marketing are designed. In the practical part of the work, the tourism product of Nizhny Novgorod is described and municipal tourism programs are assessed for the presence of identified marketing tools, and the problem areas of the tourist policy of Nizhny Novgorod are identified. The formulated recommendations to solve the problems will be sent to the "Tourism Administration of Nizhny Novgorod". Research consists of an introduction, 3 chapters, conclusion.
