Organizational and Economic Methods of Risk Management in Multimodal Transport

Risk management in a multimodal transportation is one of the most urgent and actual problem in the modern world, because every year the number of enterprises using multimodal routes increases and as everyone knows any logistic activity is closely linked to risk The purpose of this study is to develop a risk management methodology suitable for a transport company whose activity is related to the delivery of goods in a multimodal way. The object of the research is the join-stock company "RZD Logistics". The subject of the research, in turn, is a process of managing enterprise's risks. As a result of the research, two approaches of risk management have been developed. To determine the risks, it was used the risk register method. To provide self-insure to the company it was used a creation of a risk fund for the process of transportation goods.
