Research and Identification of Features of Project Management for Organizing Business Events

The present work is devoted to approaches and features of project management for organizing business events. The work consists of three chapters. The first chapter gives a classification and compares approaches to project management in the context of the organization of events. The features and limitations of project management in organizing events are highlighted. In the second chapter, hypotheses are put forward regarding the comparative effectiveness of selected approaches, the results of interviews and questionnaires of experts in the field of event management are presented. The third chapter describes the case study for the VIII International Youth Conference on Project Management of the Higher School of Economics, analyzed the life cycle of the project in terms of approaches and tools used, identified the most acute management problems, and proposed recommendations for their solution when organizing similar business events.
