Project Approach to Managing Company’s M&A Integration: the Case of ER-Telecom Holding

Integration is a final stage in M&A deals. Business physical consolidation and achievement of synergetic effects take place at this point. In this regard, different managing approaches are applied such as waterfall model, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, Six Sigma. All of them work both ways and are applied by consulting companies for running the integration process offsetting risks. The research study is carried out on ER-Telecom Holding, a leading independent Russian telecom services provider. As the result of project office and employing approaches description a number of shortcomings in project management system is found. Further it has been discovered that company integration projects are closed out behind the schedule by 62 % at average. The hybrid integration process management methodology for M&A deals is formed on the basis of Scrum, waterfall model and Spira.
