Modeling of Thermal Processes in Blocks of Space Telecommunications Equipment

Student: Korotkov Anton

Supervisor: Yury Nikolaevich Kofanov

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Infocommunication Technologies and Systems (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 9

Year of Graduation: 2018

The diploma is devoted to the thermal calculation of the control block of space telecommunications equipment. Thermal modeling plays an important role in the design of various radioelectronic equipment, since the thermal modes of the equipment directly affect the reliability of the devices. The aim of the work is thermal modeling of the block and analysis of the obtained temperature values in the nodes of the block. During the work, thermal modeling was carried out in the automated system for ensuring the reliability and quality of the equipment (in subsystem ASONIKA-T), the excess of the maximum permissible temperature was revealed on two printed board assemblies. A constructive solution to the problem of exceeding the temperature by introducing an additional radiator. Repeated thermal modeling considering the new structural element showed that none of the temperature values exceeded the maximum allowable value.
