The goal of this paper is to analyse the visit of Pyotr A. Stolypin and Aleksandr V. Krivoshein to Siberia in 1910 on the basis of the report of same name, and impact of this visit on the governmental administrative policy in the region. The aim of this document of 1911 was to protect and substantiate Stolypin’s agrarian reforms initiated earlier, as well as to demonstrate the government prospects for Siberia. The main questions of this paper are: which factors affected the content of this report, and whether it indicates a change in administrative policy in Siberia after the visit or not. The chronological framework of this research is limited to the period of Stolypin’s political career as Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire from April 26, 1906 to September 5, 1911. The object of the research are the views of Pyotr A. Stolypin and a number of his colleagues and employees on Siberia. The subject of the research is the administrative policy of the Russian Empire in Siberia during the period of Stolypin’s political career as Minister of Internal Affairs. The aim of this dissertation is to follow through the transformation of administrative policy of the Russian empire in Siberia with the report on the Pyotr A. Stolypin and Aleksandr V. Krivoshein trip to Siberia in 1910 as a basis, and previous and subsequent policy of the empire in the region.
