ClickHouse is a database management system created by Yandex for generating real-time analytics data reports. Its key factors are ability to process enormous amount of data and very rapid aggregate results gathering. One common way to upload such data into DBMS is to send it other a network in TSV or CSV format. However, several methods of binary data serialization can be used to reduce its size, to increase DBMS performance and to reduce the load on the network. In this study, such different data formats and serialization methods are examined and their support in CilckHouse is implemented.
