In the conditions of modern competition, companies have to pay special attention to the logistics system and ways to improve it to achieve maximum profitability and increase the efficiency and rationality of the organization of material and related flows. The warehouse is one of the most important links of the logistics system. The goal of this work is theoretical study of the concept of a warehouse, logistics problems and ways of assessing warehouse activities.
