This research represents a comparative analysis of the specifics of the formation of the political self-identification of Russian educational migrants in the UK and British educational migrants in the Russian Federation. The paper contents an analysis of concepts and theories of political self-identification, the phenomenon of Third Culture Kids, and also as sport as an element of the formation of political self-identification of educational migrants. The research includes two separate qualitative studies - interviews and questionnaires, the results of which will reveal differences or the common factors of the formation of political identity of Russian educational migrants in the UK and British educational migrants in Russia.
