Portfolio Management of IT Platform Development Projects

The purpose of this master's thesis is to develop recommendations for managing the portfolio of projects in the IT platform companies. Actual work reviewed the scientific publications on this topic and based on the review it was reviled that the platforms have specific features in the business model and portfolio management. Thereby, a study was conducted using case study methods, correlation analysis and semi-structured interviews to identify problem areas in portfolio management processes in multisided platforms. Based on the results of the study, some procecess require improvements and recommendations were made. The main attention was paid to the selection and evaluation of the project portfolio. Among the listed tools, a model of project selection was developed with the help of linear programming method. These recommendations will help multisided platforms to manage the portfolio of projects taking into account their specific features.
