This paper examines the influence of components of company’s capital, which include equity capital, long-term and short-term liabilities, on market share of the company. The novelty of the research can be seen in careful investigation of the only one industry, which has been chosen as construction sector. The sample used in model is consisted from the data of financial accountability of 487 Russian construction companies in 2016, on which all the variables are based. The model of multiple linear regression was used in research and it was evaluated by the ordinary least squares. As a result, the positive impact of long-term liabilities and equity capital on market share was revealed. In addition, it was found that size of the company and the population of the region have positive impact on the market share of the company.
