Interaction of Governmental Levels in Domestic Tourism

The development of domestic tourism in Russia is recognized as a priority direction of state policy at all levels. This study examines the state regulation of domestic tourism at the federal level and at regional level Perm Krai. Within the framework of the work, foreign experience of state management of the tourist sphere was considered. Also, constraining factors of the development of domestic tourism in the Perm Krai were identified, on the basis of the division of which the main areas of development of the sphere were identified. For the effective development of domestic tourism, these directions should be implemented within the framework of interaction between federal and regional government bodies. The reseach suggests recommendations for optimizing such interaction on the issues of regulatory and legal regulation of domestic tourism, on the division of powers between public authorities and on public participation in enhancing the attractiveness of domestic tourism. The proposed measures can be used to adjust the state and regional policies in the field of domestic tourism.
