The "Chinese economic miracle", which was the reason for China's successful prosperity, is coming to the end. Economic growth is slowing. The new Chairman of the "fifth generation of leaders" of China Xi Jinping is faced with the task of finding a new model of development, the adoption of which requires decisive and rapid steps, impossible in the conditions of slow and corrupt party and state apparatus controlled by conservative representatives of the past era – the faction of the "communists" and close to the opposition to Xi. The regions, still following Dan's installation of "enrichment " became too independent and strong, that in crisis conditions under the influence of regional elites can lead to regionalism. Under these conditions, the current Chairman had to concentrate maximum power in his hands, as well as among his closest associates, what he is trying to do through the anti-corruption campaign (AC) initiated by him from 2012. Using AC and the tool of rotation, Xi skillfully cleans forces of opponents in the centre and regions, placing their his proteges. However, such a high consolidation of power in the hands of one person and the dismantling of the established political institutions can lead to a serious crisis as in CPC, so and in China as a whole.
