Development of an Automated Streaming Face Recognition and Tracking System Using Several Video Sources

The Master's dissertation issue is "Development of an Automated Streaming Face Recognition and Tracking System Using Several Video Sources ". The subject of the study is face recognition and tracking process. The object of the study is the automated systems of face recognition and tracking using several sources of video images. The aim of the study is development of a working prototype of the automated streaming face recognition and tracking system using several video sources (further - System). The thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter is theoretical and presents the general theory of image identification, a study of subject area, detection and facial recognition methods. Problem definition is described after a study and the analysis of the subject area. The second chapter is devoted to an object of protection modelling for which use of System is useful, to the analysis and a choice of an instrumental development tool of a System program part, to the DBMS for working with face database and to methods of face recognition and detection on the image. The third chapter is devoted to the description of the developed System, of documents generated during System working and of results of experiments for System quantitative characteristics measurement. Result of the study is working prototype of System. The Master's dissertation consists of 77 pages, includes 20 illustrations, 12 tables, and links to 22 sources were made.
