Nowadays the use of innovations in companies is not only a driver of their growth but also a significant competitive advantage. Profitability of production, level of labour productivity, adaptability of the company to the changing market conditions and other factors depend on the effectiveness of innovation processes. The most important factor of the organization of such processes is the assessment of their effectiveness. The overall aim of this study is to develop and propose recommendations to increase the effectiveness of rationalization activities in the “Gazprom transgaz Nizhny Novgorod” company. The results of the questionnaire survey of employees became the basis for the creation of recommendations, which are aimed at the increasing of the effectiveness of the company's rationalization activities.
