Communication providers are sooner or later facing the question of optimization of their telecommunication network structure. Due to low budget and in order to save the costs they have to analyse the current network status and evaluate the cost efficiency of the network and its sections. In this graduation thesis I will consider the method, which evaluates the cost efficiency of data communication network sections by fully meeting user needs. This method is based on a parameter system, which evaluates the cost efficiency, and includes complex analyses of the network performance and the efficiency of using each of the network nodes.
