Development of Software for Creating Protected Image Files

The goal of this Master’s thesis is to develop an application which allows users to create protected image files using encryption and watermarking methods. As a preparation for the development of the system the following tasks were completed: an analysis of existing solutions for protecting image files, a review of different watermarking techniques and encryption algorithms, as well as ways to evaluate the efficiency of protection methods and the quality of the resulting files. Also within the framework of this project are considered ways to organize the architecture of client-server applications using various cloud services. The result of the work is a system that consists of client application, which is a single page web application that allows users to upload images for encryption and download encrypted ones, and a server application that implements encryption, decryption, watermark application and extraction algorithms.
