Sports and Physical Activity of Millenials against the Previous Generation

Abatract In this article the generation of “millennials” is compared with the previous generations within the context of their involvement in sport and other physical activities. Based on the correlational analysis and the retrospective method, which brings the generations to the same age basis, it is proved that the millennial generation is involved into sport significantly more and, moreover, is at average healthier. Thus, the results of a number of international researches are put into doubt. Also, by using the binary logistic regression it is proved that health and belonging to a certain generation affects the involvement into sport activities as well as the latter does not depend on obesity and similar health problems.
