At the moment, structural changes are taking place in health care reform. In addition to the fact that they affect the technical part of the work of medical personnel, they, presumably, also affect the settings within the professional ethos of doctors. The aim of the study is to assess the status of professional ethos in the field of health in the context of reform in terms of professionals in this field. Results of the study: The conditions created by the health care reform do change the internal orientation of the medical ethos. The relationship of the doctor with the patient is an important component of the professional attitudes of the doctor. The ethos of this professional group is as dependent on structural changes as it is on the public reaction to them. All the imperfections of innovations lead to the development of a sense of guilt associated with the restriction of their authority to correct the mistakes of reform, and prevent them from developing and perceiving their profession as a vocation, forcing them to do their work only, ignoring the whole ideological component of the profession of the doctor.
